Nexium Control is not a full-day-capsule medication. Instead, it will work in its exact way to reduce stomach acid through a mechanism similar to that provided by the full course of Nexium. Results can vary, and it is important to contact your healthcare provider if reactions are any indication that you are experiencing symptoms of acid reflux. Due to the two medications, some people may need to take Nexium Control for a period of weeks or months. Some may also experience a return of symptoms within a few days. Contact your doctor if symptoms worsen or if your symptoms become more upset or need to be taken more frequently.
GTDGTD is a weight loss medication that works in the same way as Nexium. It is meant to be used exactly as directed by your doctor. It's not a weight reduction medication and does not alter your individual response to Nexium.
Health officials in New Jersey have approved a heart drug that is used to treat high blood pressure, according to a news release.
“The new heart drug will be a lifesaver for patients who are already suffering from high blood pressure and other heart problems,” said Dr. David G. H. Wood, MD, deputy chief of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of California San Francisco.
In a news release, Wood said he is working with Merck, the manufacturer of Prilosec, on the heart drug’s development. The new heart drug will be available by prescription only from Merck, a subsidiary of the pharmaceutical giant. The drug is approved for use in more than 40 countries.
The New Jersey Department of Veterans Affairs approved the drug, in May 2020, for the treatment of chronic kidney disease.
“This is the second time that a new drug is approved for this use in the United States,” Wood said. “The first drug to be approved for this indication was Nexium in 2005. It is currently approved for chronic kidney disease for the treatment of hypertension.”
